I am a diverse, spiritual, philosophical, intelligent, artistic, creative, analytical, responsible, honest, "REAL", and loving person. I seek the same qualities in my mate.
Things that have bothered me:
People who are dishonest, lying, cheaters, and don't communicate. I hate to have to even mention or talk about this, but you have to be careful in this day and age: I want to focus my attention on meeting with only women who are truly single, don't use drugs, and are free of STDs-sexual disease. I am a truly single guy and truly clean. Please don't waste our time if you are otherwise situated.
I am looking for:
Beauty and brains capture my heart. I seek a fulfilling friendship of intimate love with a no-non-sense, no games, honest woman who knows how to please and treat a man as a man. Like everyone else.My hope is that I will eventually find my "soul mate". My dream is that I will discover a woman who will eventually realize that she wants to be my best friend, and we like "children", "play" and enjoy each others company throughout life. I realize dating is a start to my possibly finding her, and her finding me. Nothing too serious, but relaxed getting to know each other is what I want initiallyAnd who knows what we find? Life is suppose to be happy and fun!.Try not to freak!!!
Cool Movies:
I liked watching Tolkien LOTR (the books are better than the movies), Starwars saga, The Chronicles of Narnia (the books are better than the movie), X-Men series, The Matrix, Alien(s), Star-Trek the Motion Picture, and Wraith of Khan. The movie "What the (blank) do we know?" I enjoyed watching. Kung-Fu movies. Jackie Chan. Japanese Anime. Strange Brew. Forbiden Planet. War of the Worlds(original). Underworld. The gods must be crasy. Breakfast at Tiffany's. Andromeda Strain. Fantastic Voyage(original). Woody Allen movies. "When Harry Met Sally." I like watching anything filled with action/romance, scifi/fantasy, (some horror), comedy/humor, or is intellectually/philosophically stimulating.
My Favorite Groups are:
I like listening to a wide variety of music. I like just about everything, except rap/hip-hop.
Some of my tastes include: Classical: Vivaldi, Handel, Mozart, Wagner, Techkovski. NewAGE: Vangelis, Tangerine Dream, Enya, Yani. Christian. Rock/Roll: YES, ELO, Boston, RUSH, STYX, Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd, Triumph, Neil Diamond, ABBA. Oldies and easy-listening.
I am looking for a personality like:
I believe truth and honesty are the most important qualities that are the foundation of a lasting friendship of love. I seek to find a "REAL" person to share my time, and hopefully my life with. We need to realize that we are people and not profiles. I am not interviewing a person, but learning about each other to see if we "click". The important thing is to be honest, relax and have fun. The worst case I hope for is to meet a friend I can learn from, and share experiences.
Are you willing to compromise in difficult times and situations?
I refuse to compromise concerning doing what I believe is right and true and moral.
No exceptions. The problem is that people in this present society tend to allow themselves to fall into the trap of being "politically correct" and wishy-washy about their beliefs. If you refuse to stand for something, you'll set yourself up to fall for anything. Don't get me wrong. I will be the first to admit life is full of many things to learn and explore. It is an understatement to say there is much I understand, and much I have no clue of understanding. I constantly seek guidance and direction from those I trust, but I will also admit when I don't understand something or don't know what to do in a situation. Bottom-line, I'm able to admit when I'm proven wrong and admit when I need help. All anyone can do is act in life the best one can with the knowledge and experience one has, and seek help when it is needed.
Willingness to meet others from boM:
I have never met anyone from the internet, but my brother and sister-in-law met on the internet, and got married after dating for awhile. They encouraged me to give it a try.
FIRST DATE:
It really is up to us as to what we feel is appropriate based on the chemistry we feel for each other, and how we communicate.
My idea of the perfect first date is finding out what the other person is really about.ie municating interests. Actually, the real perfect "1st date" doesn't happen til the 3rd, or 4th date when you have some idea about the person you're spending time with. We could go shopping for the ingredients, and cook dinner together?.I like to cook various healthful dishes. Sitting down somewhere quiet.Perhaps we could meet at a Chinese restaurant (I like stir-fry). Having coffee/tea somewhere is a good environment for me. Sitting at a park or going on a leisurely walk is fun to "break-the-ice" and open conversation. I'd like us to "kick-back" and be relaxed.
Are you ready to start from scratch?
I currently am single, and have no ties. It has been awhile since I have dated, but I am up to the challenge. I want to find my friend and companion.
