My sense of humor is sort of out there and I suppose that comes from exposure to "I Love Lucy", "South Park", "Saturday Night Live". I'm sensitive about feelings of pets, people, waitresses, valets, everybody. I'll own up to my mistakes.if I'm cornered and everybody's on to me:). I can come up with good ideas but implementing them is something else.

This is going to make me look like a real grouch but they're asking.I really need for a gentleman to realize and appreciate that I am in the room. If we are sitting on a couch I don't really want to sit and look at his back while he is leaning forward with his arms on his knees. It's a couch in a social setting and not the men's room.
If we are going out somewhere it is nice to comment on how I look and I will do likewise. Afterall, I spent money and time at the mall picking out something to wear and then went nuts in the bathroom with 3-way mirrors, sprays, volumizers, etc to look nice.for you :)
I'm not witchy and my expectations are easy.

Someone with so much money he uses it as kindling in the fireplace. He makes Bill Gates look like a bum with a cardboard sign. Just kidding.
Good sense of humor but not a practical joker; no spiders in a box or pulling the chair out from under me.
Open to new adventures but age appropriate. I'm not not going to jump out of a plane or do much of anything over 5 feet above the ground. Exception: Skyways or rides at Disneyland, riding that is. Not jumping.
Someone who isn't hesitant about telling someone they are in our seats, or tell a waiter we don't want to sit by the restroom, that kind of thing.
I love laughter and to see people happy.
Someone who has a suit and/or a sport coat in his closet and there isn't dust on the shoulders.

I have been told that I am the most un-intimidating person they have ever known. I don't pass judgement so if you order two dinners for yourself or have a bad hair day or discover in broad daylight that you have a sheet of cat hair on your shirt it's okay. There are bigger things to be concerned about in life.

I've been a widow (such an old-fashioned word, kind of creepy sounding) for a little over a year and have not dated for 25 years. This is a little like jumping into the deep end of a cold swimming pool. I'd like to wear my water-wings, inner tube, nose plugs for awhile but I'll eventually get out of the shallow end.

My typical day:

I sleep as long as I can and then rush to get ready for work. After work I play in my garden or walk my dog or visit my Mom or nap a bit. Sometimes I do all of these things and sometimes just one or two. I spend time on the computer for awhile, watch a news show maybe, eat. This seems silly. When you get to know me you'll see what I do I would think.

I've never been to Catalina Island or stayed in a cabin in the mountains when it is snowing. That would be so fun. I have no desire to go to Mexico, none whatsoever. I wonder what Canada looks like and Alaska too. I also would die and go to Heaven if I could Christmas shop in New York just once. Talk about wishes!
