I'm a poet, a philosopher, a salesman and a singer. I believe in Truth, Justice, and the American Way. Well, uh, Truth anyway. I've led a pretty eclectic life up to this point and have managed to learn some useful things on the way. I can hold my own in a discussion on particle physics or an argument in a backwoods bar. I can party like there's no tomorrow or spend a quiet evening snuggling on the couch and be happy either way. I have three awesome kids, a wide circle of friends and a drama free life. Life is sweet but it'd be even better if there was a special someone to share it with!
My friends describe me as smart & confident with a laid back attitude & a wicked sense of humor. I tried to get them to add "shy" but they just laughed at me. I really think I am, though! I hardly ever just go up to someone I don't know and start talking but I rarely have to. They'll usually approach me! One dear friend (bless her heart!) even tried to explain the phenomenon by saying that I had a strong "aura" that drew certain types of people to me like iron to a magnet. Poor girl. I figured out a long time ago that little kids, dogs, and drunks love me! ;)

A hopeless romantic at heart, I'm the guy that'll bring you wildflowers wrapped in an Old McDonald's napkin just because their beauty made me think of you. or leave an old "grade school" folded love note in that piece of luggage you ladies call a purse (where you may not find it for months!). All just to see that smile light up your eyes when you realize you were in my thoughts that day, that someone really cares about you, that you are truly LOVED!
I'm hoping to find someone that appreciates those little things that, to me, say so much. A woman who is as beautiful on the inside as she is outside.

I'm willing, able, really looking and, yes, I've met more than a few women off the internet. and most of those either misrepresented themselves in their profile (if you have a psycho ex stalking you then "drama free" is not a good description of your life!) or they looked nothing like their photo or, more commonly, they do look like their pic... only with another ten to twenty years added on!
Don't get me wrong, I've made some good friends and even lost my heart and a few years to a couple of those I've met... but I've also had to run for the nearest exit chanting "Feet don't fail me now"! Believe me, that's never fun. Just be honest!
Show it and tell it like it is... not like it was or how you wish it was!
