I am a positive person and love to joke and laugh. My kids think I'm the coolest dad in the world.at least you know I have great kids! Friends and family would say that I am a kind, caring and extremely loyal person. I am a goal oriented person who believes that if you can't go from point A to point B (making a goal and reaching it together, each having there objectives), then you can't work with each other and will eventually part ways. I am not perfect, by no means, however respect plays a big roll in how I feel. I do not tolerate any blatant disrespect, weather verbal, physical or otherwise and will leave a relationship even if it hurts real bad, and would hope that anyone I am with in the future would have enough self respect to do the same. I am not religious and do not tend to get along with people who have religious hang-ups, or who are dogmatic in any sense of the word. I am kind of laid back and respond calmly to stress, for I figure I can accomplish more without it than with it. I am not a lazy person, but can be if I have no goals in front of me. I generally am more motivated and do better in life with someone in it that I love. I have allot of self discipline when I need to. I need to feel needed, and I also tend to love giving and receiving attention. I hate to be ignored, and that's one good way of getting rid of me. I am a Leo, born in the year of the tiger, so I'm all jungle cat, baby!

I am looking for someone who is loyal, sincere, likes to have fun and has a good sense of humor, be themselves, takes there health seriously, and is goal oriented. One who doesn't mind challenges and who is not afraid to love and be loved. I believe in a persons freedom above my own selfish wants or desires, and I would not want to be with someone that doesn't want to be with me.

Compromises are a daily fact of life, especially in difficult times. I have been in many, but probably one of the hardest was when I was in a VA hospital for almost a year with a brain injury, I did not like being there and could have left at any time, however it was the best thing for me to stay until I was recovered enough to go home.

Oh, I am starting life life all over alright. I have no hang-ups from the past, I did not get along with my ex-wife in the past, but I do now. I generally don't hold grudges and tend to stay friendly to girls I have known in the past. I have been divorced for 14 years.

My typical day:

My perfect date experience would be to hit it off, click with the person I am with, no matter where we are, or what we are doing.
I go to school 6 hrs; a day, go to the gym or study or do chores around the house, get on the computer, may be go somewhere with family members, do volunteer work a nursing home (but have not lately since I have to watch my money real well while I go to school, that means no extra driving) I also watch a show or two before I go bed.

I would like like to start working again, and hopefully I will immediately after I finish school in February. Eventually I would like to get into occupational therapy in the future. I would someday like to own my own home and have a truly loving relationship with someone I can actually make and reach goals with.
