You will find me passionate about life, open-minded and tolerant, positive (glass half full), happy and friendly, humorous, intelligent (most of the time), spiritual and a tad philosophical. Very normal, but I hope not boring.
I enjoy too many things to mention, but lean toward casual, outdoorsy activities vs crowded downtown venues. I'm really most comfortable in small groups, rather than crowds. (Yes, I do enjoy attending a concert or live theater) I love thunderstorms, snow, autumn in the country. everything nature offers. I can have a good time doing most anything, laughing comes easy.
I'm consciencious about my appearance, but just prefer a casual life (don't get between me and my jeans and tennys!) Less is more for me. I try to eat healthy and avoid junk food, but have an average figure - with some extra padding (honest assessment, I hope.) My grandma once told me I should be a leg model - love you, Nonnie! I’m probably built more for comfort than for speed. Umm, did I mention ethnic foods? :-)
I'm a soft touch for furry and feathered creatures (I have a big "S" on my forehead. You can decide what it stands for) and I love most things outdoors, including the smell of dairy and horse barns. (Comes from spending my formative years on a farm and being dragged across pastures by various beasts)
I wouldn't be good at living in a subdivision. I prefer to live in a country-ish environment. I enjoy working on my yard and home and I’m handy with lots of tools. My favorite places are Home Depot and Harbor Freight.
Even though we have to start with chemistry (it's either there or it isn't - we can't dictate that), mutual respect, laughter, lively conversation, equal partnership (it's about we, not me), shared values, intellectual stimulation should define our relationship. I'd love for my partner to be casual and easy going, patient, non-critical and good-natured. He'd be the type who would stop to pick up an injured bird or help an old lady across the street. He'd believe in equality in relationships and treating others with courtesy.
He would see the humor in silly things, be affectionate and a lover of family and animals and believe (as I do) that two sets of hands make any job easier.
He'd be open to trying new foods and activities and love a good joke. He'd be willing to share the chores and projects around our home. And, maybe even help cook???
We didn't grow into this place in our lives together, so to expect the same perfection we wanted in our 20’s isn’t realistic.what we should expect is that we’ve learned and grown into people we would like and want to know. Who you are and how you treat others and your life philosophy is most important to me.

One of my funniest experiences is when I fell into a bog on my way to my first meeting with an online friend. I arrived wet and muddy. We both laughed and he took pictures and I've included one of them. You've gotta laugh about something like that - what else are you to do?

I just can't get into Rap.
