In the past I've been most disappointed by a lack of passion and creativity. The guys I've dated in the past didn't have interest in the news or entertainment, they just wanted to make a lot of money. Money is nice but I am much more interested in an internal drive and desire. Some kind of spark that motivates you day to day and through tough times.

I am looking for someone who is decisive but doesn't make decisions for me. He would be aggressive in going after what he wanted, he wouldn't be afraid to ask for it. My partner would need to be passionate about his dreams or plans. I love funny, intelligent, open-minded, and caring. Nothing turns me on more than wit. I want someone who gives gifts that are special to me or our relationship, I'm not a flowers and chocolate kind of girl. And I prefer genuine and creative compliments as opposed to flattery and over used pick-up lines.

I have very many funny stories as I tend to attract crazed strangers and I often get locked in toilet stalls. Oh and I fall a lot. Seriously I can't think of one funniest moment only 100.

I've always been attracted to people who are funny in a surprising and intelligent way. We don't have to have exactly the same taste but to share a sense of the off beat would be great. When a person has confidence in themselves, I have confidence in them too. As for myself, I am a great listener and very light-hearted. I'm pretty flexible and don't judge, all qualities people have seemed to enjoy in the past.

I grew up in a military family with little money and three kids. My whole life was and still is compromise. I'm willing to compromise and even sacrifice for the right guy, but it takes a lot to get to that place.

I have never met anyone in person that I've met online. All of my online relationships have kind of petered out after a few months. Either the emails back and forth go nowhere (just of string of how's it going and no conversation) or no one takes the next step.

I want a relationship with someone. My heart is very recently rejected and I'm looking for something new, mutual feelings rather than one-sided affection. I am very close to my friends and family in this area, so I am not looking to give it all up but anything is possible if the feelings and situation are right.

My perfect date experience is pretty cliché in that I love dinner and a movie. But to make the experience more than everyday, the food would be superb, like the almost perfect steak or incredibly fresh fish. We would have sophisticated drinks like excellent wine, port, and irish coffee. The conversation would be natural, fun, intelligent, and witty. I want to smile and laugh. Then the movie would be comedy in the spirit of Pineapple Express, Tropic Thunder, or Forgetting Sarah Marshall. After the movie, I wouldn't want the night to end. If we could walk someplace nice or go for dessert (not ice cream) that would be nice. And when the date would be finally over, I would want it to end with a promise I believe.

I have done a lot of things but there are many more I would like to try. Recently, I've gotten a desire to go snowboarding although I've done nothing of the sort in the past. I want to go back to Paris, Majorca, and New York. I want to see the Grand Canyon. I want a lot more tattoos and piercings. I want to my fiction to published somewhere that counts. I want to own a house. I want to try riding an ATV or a Jet ski. I want to find the right person. Oh, and I have this crazy idea that I'm going to be a triathlete . . .
