I am generally upbeat in attitude but my calm and collected exterior may be mistaken as sulleness. Generally I am happy in my own and can share this easily given the opportunity.

The miniseries, SHOGUN; Easyrider, Kill Bill vol 1, Death Wish, the Yakuza, Dogma, the Wild Angels, any and all of the Zatoichi movies. The latest might be the Last Samurai but there are really too many to name. Good news is I have most of my favourites on DVD to share!

Another person's attention to detail would allow me to deal with the bigger picture. I have always been a sucker for little thoughtful things done especially for me or at least with me in mind. I think my fairly ordered but casual life allows people to immediately see where they can fit.

Probably my biggest compromise came when I decided to continue in my present line of work that I enjoyed rather than pursue a career that while possibly more lucrative was tedious and boring. This decision was made when I decided to put myself through school and really had a choice.
